The Teach Tennnesse History website is designed to aid teachers, students and general users in learning more about American history and especially Tennessee History. Click on the links below to find the user guides.
The core Teach Tennessee History website was created by the East Tennessee Historical Society in partnership with 11 school districts and the University of Tennessee Department of History between the years 2003 and 2014. The original website was funded through three Teaching American History Grants from the U.S. Department of Education. ETHS served as project director on each grant. The revised website builds on the original and is designed to highlight important people, places and events from Tennessee and East Tennessee History.
